At Hog Wild BBQ, we believe in being straight with you. Some of the links on this site are affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission if you click through and make a purchase. This comes at no additional cost to you.
How Affiliate Links Work
When we recommend a product (a thermometer, a grill, a rub, a cutting board), we sometimes include a link to a retailer like Amazon. If you click that link and buy the product, we earn a small percentage of the sale. The price you pay is exactly the same whether you use our link or go directly to the retailer.
Why We Use Affiliate Links
Running a website costs money. Hosting, photography, recipe development, and the occasional emergency brisket all add up. Affiliate commissions help us keep Hog Wild BBQ running and free for everyone. They allow us to continue creating new recipes, honest reviews, and the tips and guides you come here for.
Our Promise to You
Affiliate relationships never influence our opinions. Every product we recommend is something we have personally used, tested, or would confidently buy ourselves. If a product is not worth your money, we will not recommend it regardless of whether an affiliate program exists for it.
When we review products, we tell you what works, what does not, and who each product is best for. Our goal is to help you make an informed decision, not to push a sale. If a cheaper option is better for your needs, we will tell you that.
Affiliate Partners
Hog Wild BBQ is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. We may also participate in other affiliate programs from time to time.
Identifying Affiliate Links
We aim to be transparent about which links are affiliate links. Product review posts and gear recommendation articles are the most likely places you will find them. If you are ever unsure whether a link is an affiliate link, you can check the URL, as affiliate links typically include tracking parameters.
Questions?
If you have questions about our affiliate relationships or want to know more about how we choose which products to recommend, reach out through our Contact page. We are happy to explain.
Thanks for supporting Hog Wild BBQ. Every purchase through our links helps keep the smoke rolling.
